Shinichi Ishizuka is so good at creating human dramas and the subtle nuance he puts in the facial expressions of characters is fantastic. I’m always fascinated at how manga artists convey sound through visual art and this manga does an amazing job.

Sequel series to Blue Giant. Follows young tenor sax jazz player Dai Mikimoto on his trip to Europe. Really love this manga. Shinichi Ishizuka might be the best at representing the intensity of music in manga’s visual medium. If you like great human drama this is a manga for you!
